Index to World War I Draft Registrants, Benton County Washington

This is an index to the approximately 2,000 World War I draft registration cards for those males who registered in

Benton County, Washington. All men between 18 and 45 (born between 1873 and 1900) were required to register.

The original draft registration card for an individual will provide you with full name, home address,

date of birth, age in years, citizenship information, and a brief personal description. The draft registration

cards have been microfilmed and the microfilms are available through either the National Archives and

Records Administration (NARA) or the Family History Library. For the registrations indexed here,

you would need to access the microfilm for Benton County, Washington. Alternatively our research committee

can assist you in obtaining a copy of the actual registration card.
