 +===== Their History =====
 +
 +
 +In the 1920 census Fay and Thelma were both living with their families in Umatilla Co, OR where he was a floorman in a garage. They were most likely married in that area about 1922, and their first three children were born in Oregon.
 +
 +In the 1930 census Fay was a farmer, and the family was living in Hanford, Benton Co., WA but must have recently moved there. Patricia was less than a year oId and had been born in OR. At some point the family lived in CA, for Thelma and Fay's social security numbers were issued in that state (SS started in 1936.).
 +
 +By 1948 at the time of Fay's father's death the family lived in Milton, OR. Polk's 1952 city directory for the Tri Cities, WA lists Fay as an employee of General Electric and living at 1606 Perkins, Richland, WA. Also, the Walla Walla Union Bulletin of April 16, 1952 says, "Mr. and Mrs. Fay Davis of Richland spent Easter here with their daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Richard Coffman and had Easter brunch at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Harry Davis".
 +
 +In Polk's 1970 city directory for Richland, Fay is retired and he and Thelma are living at 374 Wright St., which was his residence in 1972 when he died. His obituary in the Tri City Herald lists him as a retired power operator, a member of Operating Engineers Local 280, and a resident of the Tri Cities since 1951.
