TCGS sponsors a yearly trip to Salt Lake City for a week of researching in the Family History Library for TCGS members, prospective members, and guest relatives from around the US.
The 2012 Ancestor Hunt will be April 29 - May 6 (Sunday-Sunday) with research time in the library from Monday-Saturday.

Lee is arranging for hotel rooms for the group at the Carlton Hotel, 140 E. South Temple, 3 long, walking blocks from the FHL. The hotel provides:
an all-you-order hot breakfast all six days
transportation to and from SLC airport
van service to the Family History Library if you'd rather not walk
refrigerators and microwaves upon request (to Lee)
Prices (not confirmed yet): Double, $188/ea; Single, $335; Triple, $135/ea plus 11.35% taxes
Walk to the library from the hotel (about 15 minutes) or ride in the hotel's van.
Library hours are 8-5 Monday and 8-9 Tuesday through Saturday. You get a total of 74 possible hours in the library (but remember you do need to stop to eat!)
Join the TCGS group for lunch. With a visitor's card from the library you can eat in the LDS cafeteria located in the Church Office Building. They offer a wide range of choices (a daily entree, salads, burgers, soups, desserts for very reasonable prices)
FHL Orientation scheduled for newcomers and repeat members (typically Monday morning).
