Background — Good genealogy road trip techniques: Be prepared and become familiar with what you will be seeing or searching out before you go. Start with the introductory video on the facility and its enlightening history. A second YouTube video is related. And finally, more on a third video. If you are not in the lucky 43 that signed up and selected ahead of you, DEFINITELY watch the three YouTubes to see what you will have missed. |

Meeting the bus: UNDER CONSTRUCTION |

|
Special Activity – B Reactor Tour. OUT-OF-TOWNERS unfamiliar with these tours, should realize “how special you are.” For 2011, 50 bus tours for the public were scheduled by the Department of Energy (DOE) only during the summer months. Tickets, placed for sale on the internet starting at midnight on one given night, normally sell out completely within 1-2 hours for all 49 available tours. A single exclusive bus tour to the reactor has been arranged on OUR Friday (none for Public that day) to accommodate 43 out-of-town conference attendees and their traveling companion. The difference between the “public” madhouse and “you” is that the QUICKER YOU REGISTER for the conference, the better chance you have of being one of the 43 lucky participants. The (1) PayPal’s Date & Time payment stamp or (2) the Postmark of the mailed-in forms will be used to establish the order applications were received for this limited event. |
